Ever heard of the saying “The Joy of Photography”? This to me is one of the truest sayings I have heard. There is a lot of joy in photography. Actually, I have asked myself several times what is it I find in photography that I cannot seem to replicate in other events. Is it joy, is it seeing the work you have created, or could it be just a good feeling one gets after putting in hours of work on a project? Whatever it is, it keeps calling me back to search for new heights in a never ending sea of possibilities.
For me, I like using the backyard as my canvas, but of course my backyard does not stop at my fence. No, no… I like to think my backyard is where my feet will take me. I may be on my deck or out among my trees today, but then again I might find myself 100 miles down the road capturing an image of a waterfall. I would like to welcome you to my world and I would honored if you join me in my journey as I explore photography one day at a time.
